Penguin versus Yeti is a funny snowboard racing game, in which players are a nice penguin who should free his friends and cut the yeti's food supply. There's a vulture who guards the Yeti's caves and the players have to be faster than he is, because if he finishes a level first, he wakes up the Dark Yeti, who will close the exit of the caves, which means, the players will lose.
The game has nice graphics, sound effects, and music, and provides numerous levels to play. All the levels feature different beautiful arctic landscapes and a wide range of challenges and obstacles to avoid. They are full of frozen fish reserves, which the players have to destroy on the way to the final line, as well as Yetis, that will try to slow the penguin down; to kill a Yeti the players need to jump onto its head.
The game includes three difficulty levels, and there is a possibility to practice any level before actually playing it. The players will have a certain amount of time to finish a level, the faster they will finish it, the more points they will get. The game allows the players to save the progress of every level, by clicking on a diskette image, and continue playing anytime they want from the point they have stopped the game. A highscore table with the names of the best players is also available.
